Concert Review - Music in the Grapevine Series  - Two Rivers Winery - Redlands CO.

"Loved the whole show from the Sade opener to "Whiskey Talking" closer. The sound and balance seemed just right. The vocal leads and blends from Emily Jurick and Eric Gross were awesome. Kellen was smoking hot!  Way to go to the Wild Flight team.

Club Show Review   Charlie Dwellington's (Grand Junction CO)

"Last night we attended the CD and music video release by Wild Flight. This is a local group that is pretty new on the scene here. It was a great night. The music was excellent. They performed several original pieces which were very good and they also did some covers. The covers weren't just rehashed versions of popular songs but imaginative rearrangements. "Ring of Fire" was refreshed and revitalized and I suspect Johnny Cash would have loved it. I would recommend that anyone who enjoys really good live music should keep an eye out for this group and go to one of their performances.

Spotify Curator  reviews:

Catchy and elegant blues rock.  I love the way the music progresses. The vocals are catchy and it has a very good tone and blend. The drums are varied and well mixed. Good job Wild Flight!   Sound Acer

Great guitar melodies, a lot of feeling involved, great harmony and good instrumental and voice synchronism, which are super tuned and with a great interpretation and expression, good mixing and mastering, a work with great potential that will certainly cultivate new fans and listeners!    The Best of Rock

Great rhythm and a super expressive guitar, I love the delay of the melodies. They give it a lot of personality and spatiality! the harmonic progression is simple but very nice, I think it's a hit.     Rock Clasico en Ingles

Remarkable uplifting and electrifying! Your vocals are just perfectly interacting with the instrumentals and it all comes together in a very fine combination of all musical elements.

Great light rock sound –– reminds of Jacob Dylan & the Wallflowers. Well-produced and great prosody; vocals are also great and the right tone and timbre for this re-emerging pop-rock style. everything is working here, solid writing, production on point, excellent vocals.

Fans of this genre will LOVE it and it IS a champion in the right space.   MT

Love the soothing and relaxing vibe of your record, the drums have an organic vibe and a bit jazzy,  I like the vocal, love the delivery and lyrics. Record has potential and I'm sure it will have success!"    TC21 Coppens

Single "Raise Up Your Window" soaring in Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and the US!  Wild Flight reached over 200,000 streams on Spotify, so far this year! The top country is Brazil and the top city is Sao Paulo, Brazil. Thank you!

July 2025 the 54th annual Carbondale Mountain Fair offered a coveted one-hour time slot to showcase our band. It was an honor and a pleasure to entertain at this storied festival.  Huge thanks to all the creators, promoters and volunteers who make this amazing event happen year after year.  â€‹

High in the Colorado Mountains summer 2019, Wild Flight began as two singer-songwriters playing and singing for the pure joy of it.  Five albums later they've gathered some of the finest musicians around to record and perform original music and uniquely arranged cover songs.

Eric Gross is a singer, songwriter and piano player. He studied music in Boston and spent the early part of his career between Boston and Nashville, recording and touring with different artists. Eric writes, plays and sings powerful, soulful songs and sweet melodic tunes.

Emily Jurick writes and sings from her roots in blues, rock and traditional western music. Drawing on colorful life experiences, she uses her sensual voice to tell stories in a creative and fresh style.  Emily spans the spectrum from classic rock and funk to R&B and jazz standards in her renditions of old & new songs.

Wild Flight Band on stage and in studio includes Kellen Michael on guitar, Rob Labig on drums & percussion, Sage Vickers on drums and  Bill Ritchen on bass.  Tim Emmons (bass) is a regular contributor, along with many other fine musicians!   Working as a duo or trio for more intimate settings, and a full, 6-piece band for larger venues, Wild Flight appears at festivals, clubs, house concerts and private events.  Whether its a dance crowd or a focused listening crowd, Wild Flight delivers a compelling show.
